What I loved most in Montanema
Montanema handmade village undoubtedly is a unique hotel. A wonderful place surrounded by virgin nature. There are many things you can adore in your stay there. From the luxury homes with modern fireplaces, the spring water who running in your tap, the wonderful staff, the excellent food in Fournia restaurant or the Irema cafe. But what I liked most in Montanema are small details in architecture and decoration that really touch me, and some of these I want to present to you with my photos.
Some lamps in the hotel’s café
The lucky horseshoe in every one of the hotels houses
An old hanger (monk we call it in Greece)
Details of folk mason in a fence

Hiking at Montanema
The first morning during our stay in Montanema handmade village we walked into the canyon in front of the hotel following Kerasiotis River.
The trail was great for hiking in the mountain. Our guide Constantinos with endless knowledge of local flora gave to us useful information about the various plants that we encountered in the path.
Kerasiotis river at several points along the route forming impressive small waterfalls, while the light plays with the water passing between the leaves.

Plastiras Lake Ride
The Montanema handmade village located very close to Plastiras Lake. So you can combine the stay in the hotel with lake activities .
The other members of TBG preferred horse riding. My ride was photographic.
The landscape on the northern side of Plastiras Lake is magical. The mountains on the horizon are still snowy, while horses graze on fress grass waiting for the guests.

Montanema handmade village Sunrise
I am thinking that you can not feel deeply a place if you not see the sun rise at least once. I know it’s hard to get up early, while not yet dawn and search from which side the sun rises but believe me it’s worth it.
At least in my trip to Montanema handmade village to look at the sunrise was easy. The sun just comes forward in the ravine that is in front of the complex.
It is one of the few times that I enjoyed the sunrise and I was not in a beach. But the Montanema landscape was marvelous and so was the sunrise.

Etoliko Greece
Etoliko is a historic city in western Greece built on an island in the middle of a lagoon.
Etoliko has described as Little Venice because of the wonderful environment in which it is.
Etoliko has neither the channels nor the impressive buildings of Venice, but it is a beautiful city Surrounded by water. A real paradise for photographers.

The three wheels Trikke is like a toy and from the first moment I enjoy the ride. The tour starts from 18 Chatzichristou Street where company’s office is, near Acropolis Metro station.
Scooterise offers to its clients a lot of different tours . The Scooterise Athens Highlights Tour, The Scooterise Art & The City Tour, The Scooterise Athens Food Safari tour, The Acropolis & Athens Scooterise Combo tour, The Scooterise Athens Riviera Tour. We just took the Scooterise Athens Complete Tour .
Happy TBG members Scooterising in Athens
During 2 and ½ hours we saw some of the more interesting spots of the city. Hadrian’s Arch and the Temple Of Zeus, Zappeion and the Kallimarmaro (panathinaiko) stadium, the Presidential mansion, an interesting ride through the National Gardens, Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament, Monastiraki square, Ancient Roman market, Tower of the Winds, Plaka and tours ends. I had so much fan that for sure I will do it again in the future.
